Arianne Zager comes from a long line of artists, designers, and musicians. Some of her first memories are sitting on her Nana’s lap sewing purses; she guided the fabric while her Nana worked the foot pedal. Her Nana taught her all the tricks of the trade at age 4. Arianne’s creative drive and love of art and design continued to grow rapidly throughout the years.
Inspired by nature, travel, music, and color, Arianne moved from her sleepy Wisconsin town to New York City at age 18. There she attended school at KGS and the Fashion Institute of Design and graduated with an undergraduate degree in fashion design and merchandising. Arianne hit the ground running and worked for companies such as Jill Stuart, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Mossimo, Roxy Sugar, Golden Touch, and many more.
She also had the incredible opportunity to assist on high-end photo shoots with her photographer brother, Ranjit Grewal. Cutting her teeth around some of the best in the business, Arianne started her first company: Baby Couture. This business specialized in children’s wear and debuted at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
After a few years, it was clear that Arianne had an eye for couture, so she took on many private clients for one of a kind garments. This designer focuses on having an expert eye for fine cuts, textiles, and tailoring.
Arianne has also spent many years traveling all nooks and crannies of the globe allowing her to pull inspiration from unique cultures. Basking in new techniques and unusual materials, this designer communicates her vision through fine art and design.
In addition, Arianne is an internationally shown watercolor painter and sells in over 30 countries. You can see her influence from fashion in all of her paintings. Depicting a skewed interpretation of feminine beauty, many of Arianne’s pieces are inspired from the rituals and fashion from foreign lands. Both her art and design communicate a serene sense of elegance and glamor, making the viewer and the wearer feel immaculate.
After living in many diverse places and countries, Arianne has explored the world through textiles, art, and design. Her love of fashion, fabric, paint, and art has lead to many free-flowing creations and opens the doorway for many more to come.
